Jeanne was awesome to work with. Jeanne was the planner for our monstrous 3-day wedding event and it could not have been as successful without her. She helps out a lot with ideas, vendors, and picking things up. She also has a really good vision and aims to please. At some points I was freaking out or needed to catch up on things and she was calm and talked things through with me. I was also himming and hawing about money and how to cut some corners and she had great suggestions and eased my mind. Not to mention, she is very honest which I appreciate. If I wanted to cut out an idea and she felt it was necessary, she was honest. Probably comes from all of her experience. I loved how calm she was; it amazed me. She also remembers everything- she’s very organized! If you want a well-planned, creative wedding.. use Jeanne!

We wish we could rate Jeanne higher than a 5! Look no further. This is the best possible wedding planner any bride or groom needs. She surpassed all of our expectations and all of our guests and vendors raved about her. Amazing! Jeanne is worth her weight in gold. We hired her for day-of coordination and she went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for from other planners who’s quotes were well out of our budget. We had to switch our venue two weeks before the wedding so I was in full bridal meltdown but Jeanne never broke a sweat. She was an absolute lifesaver. Leading up to the event she is the perfect sounding board when your fiancee’s eyes are glazing over. And the day of she was the epitome of on top of it. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. My mom was snapping photos of the details while we were getting pictures taken and she joked that she has a ton of pictures of Jeanne just because she seemed to be everywhere doing everything that day. We were blown away by her service.

Every wedding needs a photographer to capture the big day, but what many brides and grooms overlook is hiring a wedding videographer. Wedding videographers can give you an account of your entire wedding day from a different perspective than your own. It’s a beautiful thing to go back and see what really happened on that wonderful day while you were caught up in the excitement of it all.

Just the other day I had a bride email me wanting to know how her wedding video was progressing. She was so excited, and wanted to see it. One important remark she made during our conversation was: “I barely remember the day, it was such a whirlwind.”

A Wedding Video can give you is the ability to someday sit down with your children and show them what mom and dad’s wedding day was like. And if you’re like me, I tell them, “See that’s what we looked like 15 years ago”. They are usually stunned. It’s great fun for all to watch.

There was a bride I spoke with a few months ago; I had shot her wedding video last October and she was so thankful she had us shoot her wedding video, and not for reasons you might think. She had informed me that just weeks after their wedding, her husband’s best friend, and best man, had died in Iraq. I was sad and happy for them. I had shot the last known footage of him at their wedding and they will cherish that video for the rest of their lives.

1. The place cards were handmade and amazing. They looked vintage and took hours to make. Every card was different.
2.  Wedding thank you cards were inserted in napkins!  These were made on my Heritage Makers web site. A sincere thank you to everyone greeted guests who came to the wedding from the bride and groom.
3. Centerpieces- an assortment of mason jars, milk glass, vases with assorted flowers and candles. Vintage books used to give the vases some height. The overlays for each table at the reception were different. Lace, burlap, burlap with lace sewed on the edge.  Suzi Kaminsky, a friend of the bride designed these with wholesale flowers.
4. Chandeliers- 2 were used for this outside AZ wedding. One for the guest entrance and one near the dance floor above the cake.
5. A vintage bicycle decorated with a ”Just Married” sign and cans to follow it. Loved this!! The bride and groom took their engagement photos on this bike.
6. Old furniture used for decor- a beautiful hutch made to look vintage with an assortment of wonderful desserts (cake pops, cakes, mini cupcakes etc.). They also used desks, carts, dressers, couches, chairs to decorate the backyard.
7. Sweetheart table- This looked amazing.  The bride and groom sat in old vintage chairs, an old rocking chair, old doors and flagging, lace tablecloth, candles, old lamps (that worked)
8.  Buffet- we actually used old doors and windows to decorate the buffet. It looked so cute. Lots of candles, assortment of vases, chalkboard signage, mason jars wrapped in burlap, burlap and lace doilies for decor. Amazing!
9. The flowers-  Wow! They were so beautiful. Made by Petal Pushers.
   
10. Cake- Made by Elizabeth with Cakes by Elizabeth. She made a vintage looking cake and a grooms cake to look like a University of Michigan football helmet.
11. Homemade Photo booth station-  The bride wallpapered a wall with vintage style wallpaper and set up an old style living room in front of it. Guests took their own photos with old Polaroid cameras. They wrapped themselves with lace shawls, wore top hats, fake mustaches. It was so fun.

Jeanne graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelors degree in Hotel Management. From there, she began working as a restaurant manager, and then with a catering company. For 10 years, she worked the catering side of the business, everything from serving tables to office administration and sales. As a sales manager, she loved selling and planning and working for weddings and learned she also had a knack for corporate events and other parties.

After having two children, Jeanne opened up her own event planning company in April 2004. Since then her portfolio has grown to over 100 weddings of all different types.  Small weddings, destination weddings, large weddings, Catholic, Jewish, Hungarian, Polish and Eastern Indian Ceremonies. She’s even had a Rabi and a Priest perform together!

17 years later, she still absolutely loves what she does. She loves meeting families, getting to know them and feeling a part of their family as the wedding date approaches.
